On February 12-14, 2016 the Whistler Biathlon Academy is hosting the British Columbia Biathlon Championships at Whistler Olympic Park.

This event brings together the best biathletes from across British Columbia and beyond, including athletes from the Yukon and Washington State. This event serves as a selection race for the B.C. team at the Canadian Biathlon Championships, and determines the annual provincial champions at the individual and club level.

Whistler Olympic Park charges $15 per vehicle charge for spectators without a seasons pass, which is collected at the entry gate to the park. Spectators can park in the parking lot that is 30 metres before the biathlon building on the left.
The competitions will run from 11am-1pm on Saturday, and from 10am-noon on Sunday.
There are two main spectator areas to watch the competitions: behind the fence along the finish chute, and at the range between the white fence and the course (access through the tunnel).
Hosting BC grant funding was received from the Province of British Columbia through the Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development and administered by viaSport British Columbia.
Food for volunteers is provided by Nesters Market Squamish and Match Eatery & Public House.
Prizes and food for Athletes is provided by KV+ and Clif Bar.
