The Whistler Biathlon Society offers group biathlon lessons for all levels and abilities. From introductory sessions for brand new participants, to to privately coached sessions for experienced groups of athletes, the Whistler Biathlon Society can organize a group lesson tailored to your desires and expectations.
Our lessons use real .22 calibre rifles and are facilitated by certified biathlon coaches. The standard group lesson plan includes a rifle safety and biathlon range orientation, target shooting instruction, and fun biathlon games and races. Customized lessons can be arranged upon request.
No prior biathlon or shooting experience is required. For winter lessons some prior skiing experience (classic or skate) is required. For summer lessons participants can bike or run.
What to Bring
Biathlon equipment (rifle, ammunition, etc.) and trail passes are provided. Bring appropriate active wear for the weather and conditions of the day as well as water, snacks, andsunglasses/sunscreen as appropriate.
Participants in our winter biathlon lessons must provide their own skate skis, boots and poles. Biathlon-specific equipment will be provided for new participants.
Participants in our summer lessons can roller ski, bike or run, but bring runners in either case. A hat, sunscreen and bug spray are recommended depending on the conditions. Biathlon-specific equipment will be provided for new participants.

Times, Dates and Booking
Our standard one-day group lessons run from 10:00-15:00, with an hour break for lunch. In addition to our standard format lesson we can tailor an experience to the needs of your group whether it be a shorter lesson or a series of lessons, or whether you want to combine the lesson with running, biking or roller skiing.
To obtain a quote for a group lesson and to inquire about available dates, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We generally require at least 2 weeks prior notice to facilitate a group lesson, with the more notice the better for special requests or groups of over 10 people.
For our standard one-day introductory lesson the fee is $150 per person, which includes rifle and ammunition. For a quote on a customized lesson please contact email@example.com.
